Another “sweet” idea from Coca-Cola

Picture a big red truck, playing music (of course, don’t they all?), pulling into the neighborhood, with a big red button on the back, ready for anyone to push to find “a little happiness…“ Well it’s something that “simple” that’s the latest brilliant marketing idea for the soda giant. Sometimes you get a coke,… sometimes a soccer ball, sunglasses, T-shirts, beach chairs and even an occasional surf board! It’s Coke’s sequel to it’s very popular Happiness Machine .

What another great idea to communicate that the brand is all about simple happiness! But it’s less the idea, I think, for Coke to be congratulated on, than the willingness to put such a sweet and basic tactic into market in such a big way.
