Diesel is picking up speed on Facebook.

In a proactive and powerful way, Diesel, the fashion retailer, is taking Facebook status in it’s own hands. There QR codes placed next to garments and when consumers scan them with their phones, they are taken to the product’s webpage where a “Like” button is readily available. Once you “like” the product, news get automatically uploaded to your Facebook page. Your friends will see the product you picked and find out that you are shopping at Diesel.

Now, it may not bring any obvious benefits to us, consumers, but it will boost Diesel’s status on Facebook and we now know how important it is.
