Why the writers on The Colbert Report don’t win more Emmy® Awards is a mystery to me. Recently Stephen welcomed a new advertiser to The Report, and though I’m sure a few marketing executives were cringing, he delivered one of the funniest send-ups I’ve ever seen of the all-too-familiar marketing brief. Though no doubt embarrassing to the author of the brief itself, it was spot-on and did not denigrate the brand in any way. Oh, and this weekend? I bought a box of Wheat Thins. They’re pretty tasty.
