Bull & Bear SteakhouseBy now, it’s clear I am a fan of marketing that is so simple, so intuitive, it says everything it needs to by its sheer existence. So how much simpler could the Bull and Bear Steakhouse in the Waldorf-Astoria (NYC) have gotten:

Cocktail prices decline when the stock market does. Bad day on the market, good day in the bar to commiserate with cohorts. (They even supply a large ticker to confirm the day’s results.) A simple Facebook LIKE or Twitter following will allow you to claim the discount.

Now too bad the market isn’t capped at a 5% loss like the discount is! GWH W.T.F. (Winner, Toss-Up or Flop) Award WINNER for simplicity and relevance. (How novel!)
