We’ve all heard of targeting moms in marketing by going after their kids. Playing to the “Mommy I want” factor. But this is a whole new ballgame! Friskies cat food not only has an entire collection of COMPUTER GAMES for Cats, but has now hosted a “Games for Cats Hackathon” for techies and creatives to “create an app or game for cats with the fun spirit of the Friskies® brand as inspiration!” (with, of course, a $15,000 top prize).
Recently finding myself denouncing my lifelong “I’m just not a cat person” creedo after cat-sitting a furry family member, I can absolutely see how Friskies could work its way into the hearts of real died-in-the-fur Cat-Lovers by showing that they understand and play to the needs of your cat. (Plus, the videos of the cats playing the games are hysterical!)
