Another Tech Society Milestone

Kindle Replaces the US ConstitutionAs the summer of 2014 is almost upon us, here’s some light-hearted news:

Apparently, a new Ambassador to Switzerland and Liechtenstein was sworn in recently. No big deal there. It has been done before, many times. What makes this time so special? Well, there was no US Constitution to swear on. Instead, an e-copy of it delivered via Kindle. Yup, a little plastic digital tablet. Not even an iPad. (Gasp!)

Makes one wonder what “throwing a  book” at someone may look like pretty soon? Or “book ‘em”? (OK, sorry about that.)  Oh, the times, they are a’ changin!!
