Making 9/11 More Than a Memory

The 9/11 tragedy. Thirteen years ago. Not a “special” anniversary like 5 or 10 or 25. A long time ago, but it doesn’t feel like it, especially for those of us in the NY Tri-State area. So every year I continue to want to do something to remember, something to honor, to take some small action that attempts to create good out of so much sadness.

So I do what little I can.

Like visiting the breathtakingly poignant 9/11 Memorial Museum, and the amazing 9/11 Tribute Center, working¬†so hard to inspire “resilience and recovery” after so much madness.

And most of all, joining in and promoting the relatively quiet (in my book)¬† 9/11 Day, actually our nation’s largest annual day of “charitable engagement!” (Last year over 47 MILLION people said “I WILL” and joined in to do an act of charity or goodness in the US AND over 150 other countries!)

Turns a day created by evil into a day forever marked by kindness. Now THAT’S an exercise in rebranding! Doing what we can to never forget, please join us.
