Camilla took Reebok’s challenge to get a “big tattoo” to heart when she had the giant “delta logo” (used to advertise Reebok’s “CrossFit” gear) tattooed on the back of her right thigh!
As reported in Adweek, “… the sportswear company set up a pop-up tattoo shop at the Tough Viking competition in Stockholm, and promised to give a one-year sponsorship, worth some $5,800 in Reebok gear, to whoever walked away with the biggest version of the brand’s new triangle logo on his or her body.”
Ms. Nilsson’s thigh took the prize.
The ad goes on to tell her transformational journey from way-out-of-shape to the athlete she is today — one who actually finished the “Tough Viking” competition this year.
Whether you’re a fan of tattoos or of Reebok, you have to give this a GWH W.T.F. (Winner, Toss-Up, or Flop) Winner award for getting someone to “Do Stuff” pretty extreme, all in loyalty to a brand — come on, getting tattooed is a tad more impressive than redeeming a coupon! And asking for this to happen takes some pretty big marketing cojones!
