Hey NYC, think you know it all? Google’s latest campaign to promote their “Dream” app, bets you don’t, and shows how to get answers on just about anything, with ease.
To put the app to the test, they went big time to The Big Apple —and embedded themselves into the fabric of Manhattan on an unprecedented HUGE scale with a slew of site-specific mini installations using fun, attention- grabbing mediums.
From elegantly engraved signs, to snowboards, bowling balls, and elevator buttons, they placed queries throughout NYC to encourage residents to re-look at the most familiar places. Thought-provoking questions and unexpected places aimed to get some outrageous “Google” attention!
Wonderful concept using creative copy and design, plus the clinchers, humor and surprise! Google, you get a GWH W.T.F. (Winner, Toss-up or Flop) WINNER Award for sure!
(OK, Google, what’s a GWH W.T.F. (Winner, Toss-up or Flop) Award?)
