Yes! In a bold move to support the female-owned businesses in the country, (Hey, that’s GW Hoffman Marketing, too!) Walmart partnered with certifying body, Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) and WEConnect International to launch a whole new subbrand — Women Owned™ — to easily identify those products on-shelf and online, that are made by women-owned businesses. Initially featuring 6 brands on their site, as part of its commitment to offer more products made by female-owned businesses, any WBENC-certified product can also put the logo on their product.
As a certified WBENC member, too, this is pretty exciting stuff. So check out the goods and help get this party started!
