By now, we’re all familiar with the concept of virtual reality experiences. With a pair of goggles and a little imagination, we can be transported to another place in an instant. However, the North Face in South Korea took VR a step further (as if that was possible?) and added more Reality back in! Shoppers got to experience a virtual dogsled, which was totally cool all by itself. But the REAL interaction began when they took the goggles off.
Reality Check: Technology may offer marketers a chance to engage consumers on many levels, but sometimes for a brand, there’s no substitute for real and tangible human interaction. Think the 3 million+ views on this stunt video proves that point in spades!
